Customers can pick up the accessory for US$279.99, which Amazon suggests is a 7% discount on the recent price of US$299.99. However, this price cut only occurred earlier this month; the gadget initially retailed for US$339.99, meaning you save US$60 or 18% off the MSRP. The dock is also available directly from Corsair for US$299.99.
The TBT200 Thunderbolt 4 Dock which launched last November allows you to add ten ports to your laptop. The device includes four Thunderbolt 4 USB-C ports, one to connect to the host with 96W charging and three to link to other gadgets with 40Gbps transfer rates. Further devices can be connected via 15W USB-C and three 7.5W 10Gbps USB-A ports. The accessory supports connection to two 4K HDR monitors, with USB-C to HDMI and DisplayPort cable adapters provided. Other ports include an SD card reader, a 3.5mm audio jack and 2.5GB Ethernet.
The Corsair docking station also has a Kensington security slot to protect against thieves. The gadget is compatible with various Mac, PC and Chromebook devices, has an aluminum casing and measures 8.74 x 3.27 x 0.99-in (~222 x 83 x 25 mm).
