Deal | Nvidia's RTX 4090 and RTX 4080 gaming GPUs slip under MSRP

Nvidia is reportedly preparing price cuts for the RTX 4000-series, but, even though AMD’s Radeon RX 6000 and 7000 cards have already seen drops below MSRP at most online retailers, Team Green is not yet instructing its AIB partners to lower prices. Instead, some retailers have taken it upon themselves to adjust prices for the high-end Ada Lovelace gaming cards, which can be found now for US$50 under MSRP.

Newegg currently lists the GIGABYTE WINDFORCE GeForce RTX 4090 model at US$1,549.99. This might not last too long, as the other day, Newegg had the same discount on the PNY RTX 4090 model and that one sold out fast. It looks like Newegg is rotating this discount among whatever brands it has in stock.

The RTX 4080 is getting the US$50 discount down to US$1,149.99 not only at Newegg, but at Best Buy, as well. Both retailers have the promotion for the GIGABYTE Eagle GeForce RTX 4080 model.

WCCFtech informs that the RTX 4070 / Ti models could also see discounts soon. As such, the RTX 4070 Ti would drop to under US$799, whereas the RTX 4070 could go as low as US$549 in order to closely match AMD’s Radeon RX 6800 XT that is now on sale for US$539.99.
