Xiaomi 13 Ultra: Official camera accessory kit turns new flagship into DSLR lookalike
Earlier today, Xiaomi launched the Xiaomi 13 Ultra, as well as the Pad 6 series, a new TV Master model and the Band 8. While Xiaomi has not confirmed global pricing or availability, it has revealed full details about the Xiaomi 13 Ultra for its Chinese release. Additionally, the company has unveiled a camera accessory kit designed to make the Xiaomi 13 Ultra more of a DSLR replacement.
Accordingly, Xiaomi has included a camera grip, which doubles as a protective case. Xiaomi adds that the camera grip has a nano-skin texture, although this appears to just be the same vegan leather finish found on the Xiaomi 13 Ultra itself. Moreover, the camera accessory pack supports a 67 mm adapter ring that clips over the device's camera housing and a lens cover to minimise scratches.
Furthermore, Xiaomi bundles a wireless camera handle that includes a two-stage shutter button and a zoom button. Xiaomi states that the accessory kit will retail for CNY 799 (~US$116), but the kit is not yet orderable on its website. Instead, there is only the protective case cover for now, which sells for CNY 199 (~US$29).
