It's been years since the earliest rumors of Google's first foldable, the Pixel Fold, first surfaced. The Pixel Fold is expected to finally make its debut at I/O next month, though, and a new leak has now revealed more important launch info for the first-gen foldable phone.
According to Jon Prosser, the Pixel Fold will be announced on May 10, at Google's I/O conference. Supposedly, the foldable will be available for pre-orders via Google's own store on that same date, with carriers and other retail stores having to wait till May 30 to begin pre-orders. Actual availability is slated for June 27, however.
Reportedly, the Pixel 7a will be unveiled on May 10 as well but, unlike the Pixel Fold, will be available on that same day. The 7a will reportedly be available in three color options: Charcoal, Snow, and Ice, with an additional Google Store-exclusive Coral colorway. Apparently, though, Google will continue to sell last year's popular Pixel 6a concurrently with the Pixel 7a, likely with a significant price drop.
