Leaker names Motorola Razr Pro and Razr Lite European launch date
A few days ago, @OnLeaks shared renders of what he called the Razr Lite, or the Razr 2023. As we discussed at the time, the Razr Lite has a small cover display like the Galaxy Z Flip4. Allegedly, Motorola plans to release the Razr Lite and a second more premium model, which was previously thought of as the Razr 2023 or the Razr Plus.
Now, Max Jambor claims that the latter will actually arrive as the Razr Pro, with Motorola eschewing 'Plus' or '2023' monikers altogether. Seemingly, the cheaper model remains on track as the Razr Lite, also with no '2023' in its model name. While full specifications have not leaked for the Razr Pro or the Razr Lite yet, the former is expected to offer a 3,640 mAh battery, just 140 mAh more than its predecessor.
Amid all the name changes and rumours about a second model, it seems that Motorola's original rumoured launch date remains unchanged. In February, Evan Blass shared a screenshot of June 1 launch date for just the Razr (2023) as it was then known. Purportedly, this launch date will also apply to the Razr Lite and may be European-specific. According to Jambor, Motorola will host an in-person event in Madrid. Unfortunately, pricing has not leaked yet, although Blass' original leak implied that pre-orders might open on June 1 too.
