Motorola continues to tease the release of a next-generation Razr on social media. Now, the company has confirmed the device's cover display size, which should lead all other clamshell foldables, such as the Oppo Find N2 Flip, Samsung Galaxy Z Flip4 and Vivo X Flip.

Motorola has shared new information about its next flagship Razr smartphone. To recap, only a few days have passed since it hinted that the device would launch soon without a 'large external screen'. Additionally, the company implied that the cover display would also support a high refresh rate.

Now, Lenovo China executive Chen Jin has confirmed on Weibo that said panel measures 3.5-inches across. As GSMArena notes, that size represents a 30% improvement over the 2.7-inch panel in last year's Razr. For context, the new Razr will also have a 7.3%, 16.6% and 84.2% larger cover display than the Oppo Find N2 Flip, Vivo X Flip and Samsung Galaxy Z Flip4, respectively.

Moreover, the same teaser image appears to confirm earlier leaks, with three circular apertures also present. Based on leaked hands-on photos and renders, these apertures will serve as the Razr's LED flash module and two outer cameras, from left to right. Currently, Motorola has not revealed when it will launch its new Razr yet, although the company is expected to sell the device globally alongside a Razr Lite as the Razr 40 Ultra.
