Xiaomi POCO F5 Pro: New leak reveals hands-on and official images of global Redmi K60 re-brand
Earlier today, Xiaomi revealed plans to release the POCO F5 and POCO F5 Pro globally. Now, Sudhanshu Ambhore has shared high-resolution promotional images of the POCO F5 Pro, as well as a hands-on image. Embedded below, the former shows the POCO F5 Pro in its two known release colours. In other words, Xiaomi has decided against releasing the blue and green colourways in which the Redmi K60 is also available.
The POCO F5 Pro's black and white colourways appear unchanged from the Redmi K60's release, though. The same goes for the former's I/O, which lacks a 3.5 mm headphone jack. Moreover, Ambhore's leaked hands-on image confirms various POCO F5 Pro specifications, such as a Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 chipset, a WQHD+ (1440p) display and wireless charging support. As expected, the POCO F5 Pro does not feature the Redmi K60's batteries, which total 5,500 mAh.
Instead, Xiaomi will offer the POCO F5 Pro with a 5,160 mAh battery, which will be capable of 30 W wireless and 67 W wired charging. Seemingly, Xiaomi has not changed the camera hardware from the Redmi K60, with a 64 MP primary sensor supported by OIS and two other rear-facing cameras. As we have discussed separately, the pair will debut on May 9. For some reason, Xiaomi may only offer the POCO F5 in India, with the POCO F5 Pro available in other markets like Europe.
