The Poco F5 series is set to debut globally on May 9. Both the vanilla Poco F5 and the Poco F5 Pro are known quantities, however—essentially being rebadges of sorts of the Redmi Note 12 Turbo and Redmi K60 Pro.

Xiaomi has confirmed its plans to launch the Poco F5 and Poco F5 Pro on May 9. Ahead of that date, however, both phones have been outed, with live images, specs, and even an unboxing video of the Poco F5 Pro surfacing in the wild.

The Poco F5 is set to be a rebadge of the Redmi Note 12 Turbo. Xiaomi has already confirmed the existence of a Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 beneath the hood of the Poco F5, and leaks from reliable sources tout a 6.67-inch FHD+ 120 Hz AMOLED, a 64 MP main camera aided by an 8 MP ultra-wide-angle camera and a 2 MP macro lens, a 16 MP selfie camera, a 5000 mAh battery, 67 W, stereo speakers, and a side-mounted fingerprint reader.

As for the Poco F5 Pro, a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 supplies processing power. It sports a 6.67-inch 120 Hz AMOLED as well, but with a 2K resolution. The 64 MP + 8 MP + 2 MP rear camera setup looks identical to the vanilla Poco F5's, although OIS is present on the 64 MP shooter. A 16 MP selfie camera is present, ditto 67 W charging. The Poco F5 Pro gets a slightly bigger 5160 mAh battery, and also features 30 W wireless charging.

The designs of the Poco F5 and Poco F5 Pro don't seem to offer any surprises, as they're essentially the same as the Redmi Note 12 Turbo and Redmi K60 Pro respectively. The Poco F5 Pro ships with a silicone case and 67 W charger at least, with the Poco F5 likely to be the same.
