New Philips Ultra Efficient LED bulbs have been launched in the US, exclusively available at Walmart. A range of formats is on offer, including 60W A19 and 100W A21, with soft white or daylight options. Signify claims that the bulbs last over three times longer than traditional bulbs, consuming 40% less energy.

Signify has announced a new range of Philips Ultra Efficient LED bulbs in the US. The lineup includes 60W A19, 100W A21 and 65W BR30 formats. The company claims that the products have over three times the lifespan of a standard bulb, providing up to 50,000 hours of light. Each Ultra Efficient bulb also consumes 40% less energy, making them Philips’ most efficient bulbs, costing around US$0.55 to US$1.03 to run for a year.

Each bulb is available in soft white 3000K or daylight 5000K models; it is worth noting that these models are not dimmable. The 100W model delivers up to 1,540 lumens brightness, and the 60W variant around 810 lumens brightness. The new bulbs also use Philips EyeComfort design to reduce eye strain by minimising flicker, glare and stroboscopic effect. You can now buy the Philips Ultra Efficient LED A19, A21, and BR30 bulbs in the US, available exclusively at Walmart.

The Philips Ultra Efficient LED 100W A21 Bulb retails for US$14.97, while the Philips Ultra Efficient LED 65W BR30 Bulb costs US$10.97. The Philips Ultra Efficient LED 60W A19 Bulbs are available for US$9.97 each or US$16.97 for a two-pack. A range of Philips Ultra Efficient bulbs is already available in the UK and EU, including the 40W A60 E27 Bulb, which retails for £8.99 or €8.99.
