A report suggests that new Philips Hue products will launch shortly. Leaked images shared by hueblog.com suggest that five new smart lights will be available later this year as new models in existing ranges. Firstly, the Philips Hue Aurelle is expected to become available with a black frame. According to the rumors, the new product will come in large square and rectangular panels, currently sold with a white outer. It is unclear precisely when these new lights will launch.
The existing Aurelle LED lights can be controlled via the Philips Hue app or with Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant voice commands, adjusting the brightness and color temperature. At 4,000K, the brightness is 3,750 lumens, and the color temperature ranges between 2,200 and 6,500K. In Europe, the larger panels cost £219.99 (~US$274) or €239.99. Also leaked were two smaller Surimu panels, supposedly arriving in 30 cm (~11.8-in) round and square designs. The products are expected to have white frames and retail for €229.99 and €239.99 (~US$254 and US$265), respectively, launching on June 23.
The current Surimu LED panels are a 60 cm (~23.6-in) square and 120 x 30 cm (~47.2 x 11.8-in) rectangle, retailing for £294.99 (~US$368) or €329.99. The dimmable lights deliver white or colored light with up to 4,150 lumens. Like the Aurelle, the devices can be controlled via the app or voice commands and are compatible with ZigBee. It is unclear how these leaked images and product details were obtained by hueblog.com.
