JMGO has announced that its Kickstarter campaign for the innovative N1 Ultra 4K projector has come to an end, having amassed over US$2 million in the process. The device attracted this much backing thanks to claims of in-house "Brilliant Color" optics and an innovative "Gimbal System". Now, the OEM indicates that it is getting ready to ship the N1 Ultra to its backers, and also prepare it for release to retail.

The N1 Ultra has proven a Kickstarter hit for JMGO, having accrued ~US$1.16 million from 994 "supportive" backers in the first 24 hours of its presence on the crowd-funding platform. Now, the campaign has come to an end, with a total of US$2.24 million (or HK$17,592,929) in pledges.

JMGO is "delighted" with this performance, asserting that it shows "positive momentum in our commercial success", according to its Chief Product Officer Will Wang. The OEM has also now confirmed that the N1 Ultra will bring its proprietary "MALC Triple Color Laser Optics", not to mention the "Ultra-Thin 2-Axis Gimbal System" that allows it to rotate through 360° horizontally and up to 135° vertically, to the retail market soon.

The 4K/4,000 ANSI lumen projector, with in-built sound tuned by Dynaudio, will join its O1 Ultra FHD forebear on Amazon at a recommended price of US$2,299. It will also be available at that price through jmgo.com from mid-May 2023, which is also about the same time the OEM estimates that the N1 Ultra will start shipping to its backers.
