Xiaomi continues to tease the Redmi Note 12 Turbo on Weibo ahead of the device's March 28 release. Yesterday, the company outlined a few details, such as its rear design and release date. Now, Xiaomi has boasted that the Redmi Note 12 Turbo has thinner display bezels than the iPhone 14, among other features.
Specifically, Xiaomi asserts that the Redmi Note 12 Turbo has a 2.2 mm chin, 0.2 mm thinner than the iPhone 14. As one of the images below shows, the handset also has 1.42 mm thick side bezels and a 1.95 mm top bezel. Thus, while the Redmi Note 12 Turbo lacks uniform bezels, its sides are thinner than the iPhone 14's 2.4 mm bezels. The display will contain a small hole-punch too; Xiaomi has not provided details about its size, though.
Additionally, Xiaomi has confirmed that the Redmi Note 12 Turbo will be 7.9 mm thick and will weigh 181 g. Still, the handset will contain a 5,000 mAh battery, as well as a vapour chamber cooling system spanning 3,725 mm². Moreover, the Redmi Note 12 Turbo will launch with an OLED display that is SGS low blue-light certified, HDR10+ certified and offers a PWM frequency of 1,920 Hz.
