The Roborock Q Revo robot vacuum and mop has been unveiled in the US. The device can mop and vacuum during the same job, intelligently detecting carpets and lifting the mop by up to 7 mm (~0.28-in) to avoid dampening the fabric. The robot has up to 5,500 Pa suction power and dual mops, which can rotate in opposite directions at up to 200 RPM, to remove deeper stains. Plus, a rubber brush underneath the vacuum helps to avoid tangled hair.
The gadget comes with a multifunctional docking station, which can automatically wash and dry the mop head at up to 45°C (~113°F), empty the onboard dustbin and refill the water tank. The dock has a 5 L water tank and 2.7 L dustbin, and Roborock claims it provides 30% faster charging than the S7. Built-in sensors help the robot spot and avoid obstacles, and PreciSense LiDAR Navigation lets the gadget quickly map your home and optimize a cleaning route.
You can control the Q Revo using the Roborock app, setting no-go zones and scheduling future cleans. Alternatively, you can control the device with voice commands. The company has suggested that the new Roborock Q Revo will arrive in the US this summer, though the price has yet to be provided. It is also unclear whether or when the company plans to launch the gadget in other markets.
