Anker has discounted the 525 charging hub in the US at its online store and Amazon, offering 20% off the typical retail price. The gadget has two USB-C ports, two USB-A ports and three AC outlets. A maximum output power of 67 W from a USB-C port can fast charge laptops like a MacBook Pro.

The Anker 525 Charging Station, a 7-in-1 USB-C hub, is currently discounted at Amazon in the US. An in-page coupon gives you a 20% discount on the US$59.99 MSRP, allowing you to buy the gadget for US$47.99. The same deal is also available at the Anker store.

Ports on the Anker 525 include two USB-C and two USB-A ports, which you can use to charge a laptop, smartphone and other gadgets. The maximum power output is 67 W, fully charging a MacBook Pro 17% faster than the original charger, according to Anker. However, this can only be achieved with a single USB-C port; the maximum power from a USB-A port is 12 W, and dual USB-C port usage drops the outputs to 45 W and 20 W.

You can use the three AC outlets on the rear of the hub to charge other devices, with an eight-point safety system providing surge protection and detecting issues such as over-voltage and over-temperature. The desktop accessory measures 4.61 x 2.52 x 1.73-in (117 x 64 x 44 mm) and is available in Aurora White, Natural Green and Phantom Black. It is unclear how long this Amazon US deal on the Anker 525 Charging Station will last. However, the discount at the Anker store is due to end on April 2.
