Zendure has announced the launch of the SolarFlow 800 Microinverter in Europe. This plug-and-play device can be used for energy storage solutions or direct power usage. The company claims that its new product “makes energy more accessible”, helping users to save money on their energy bills.
The SolarFlow 800 combines a microinverter and hub controller. As its name suggests, it offers up to 800W AC output. There are two 600W MPPT connections for up to 1,200W MPPT input, maximizing your energy yield even when conditions are not optimal. According to Zendure, it is 10% more efficient than other AC-coupled systems, with 96% MPPT-AC storage efficiency. Plus, it is said to offer dynamic power output adjustments in as little as three seconds. Bidirectional AC charging can be used to capitalize on time-of-use (TOU) tariffs, ensuring stored energy is used during peak times.
Remote controls are offered via the Zendure app, where you can get an overview of your system and alter the output in increments of 1W. Plus, users can set discharge limits in the app, protecting against deep discharge. On top of this, the SolarFlow 800 is compatible with the Shelly Pro 3EM and everHome EcoTracker for power consumption tracking.
The Zendure SolarFlow 800 Microinverter unit is priced at €299, now available to pre-order. There is also a range of packages on offer, like the SolarFlow 800 and two 430W Bifacial Panels (€479) and the SolarFlow 800 with AB2000S battery and cable (€981).
