NOX Cycles has unveiled the Amplifier P2, a powerful e-mountain bike with Shimano's EP801 motor, 820Wh battery, and durable aluminum frame. Comes with a 10-year battery warranty. Three versions are available, priced €5,999 (~$6,550) onwards.

Austrian e-bike manufacturer NOX Cycles has launched its latest e-enduro mountain bike, the Amplifier P2, with a 10-year battery warranty. The bike, officially revealed on March 13, 2025, comes with a solid feature set.

Manufactured in Schlitters, Tyrol, the Amplifier P2 is equipped with the Shimano EP801/EP600 drive system, which delivers 250W of power with 85 Nm torque. Its removable BMZ V10 battery provides a capacity of 820Wh, and it is designed to support extended and challenging rides. The battery itself is produced in Germany and covered by NOX's new 10-year warranty. This warranty applies specifically to original purchasers, provided they adhere to annual battery inspections performed by authorized NOX service partners. If battery capacity declines below 70% within the warranty period, NOX commits to replacing it.

The bike’s frame is crafted from high-performance aluminum, incorporating what NOX terms "Integrated Suspension Technology". Suspension travel measures 180 mm at the front and 170 mm at the rear for control and comfort in demanding off-road conditions. The Amplifier P2 also allows customization through flip-chip dropouts and Boost standard compatibility, accommodating various wheel sizes and tire widths. It employs a mixed-wheel setup, with a 29-inch front wheel and a 27.5-inch rear wheel.

Other technical highlights include integrated cable routing, hydraulic seat post, and accessory mounts for items like bottle cages, luggage racks, kickstands, and bike trailers. Riders can customize the bike further by choosing between two color options - River and Petrol - and four frame sizes from S to XL.

Available configurations are the Core (€5,999/~$6,530), Pro (€7,499/~$8,165), and Ultra (€9,199/~$10,010), scheduled to be available to customers starting in the second quarter of 2025.

A Battery for Life

This exclusive offer applies to the new Amplifier P2 (from 2025) and all future models with the BMZ RS motor upgrade—but only for first owners and when maintenance requirements are met.
"With this warranty, we emphasize our confidence in the quality of our e-bikes and batteries. While other manufacturers offer a maximum of 2-3 years, we are making a clear statement for durability and reliability with a 10-year warranty."Marco Klimmt, CEO of Nox Cycles

For end customers, the lifetime battery warranty primarily means maximum security and long-term cost savings. An annual battery check by a NOX service partner ensures that the battery remains in optimal condition. If its capacity drops below 70%, it will be replaced under warranty.
