The Pad 5 Pro is expected to be introduced as Vivo's most premium tablet to date alongside the X200 Ultra later in April 2025. It is also predicted to land as a refresh of the pre-existing Pad3 Pro with an updated Dimensity 9400, though.
The 3 Pro debuted with a base model of just 128GB in internal storage to go with its 8GB of RAM. That option has reportedly been ditched in its successor.
It allegedly starts as an 8/256GB slate with 12/256GB, 12/512GB and 16/512GB alternative, according to the typically reliable leaker Digital Chat Station.
The tipster also asserts that the Pad 5 Pro will be available in Cloud Pink, Cold Star Gray, Light Feather White and Spring Tide Blue on its release.
The tablet is thought to debut with a ~13-inch display of an unusually high 3.1K resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate, although it is not likely to be OLED.
Nevertheless, Vivo might tout it as an alternative to the M3-powered iPad Air (now $769.99 on Amazon) on its launch.
