Vivo has plenty of new products up its sleeve that it will be unveiling later this month. As we have discussed previously, the company has confirmed that the X200 Ultra will be joined by the X200s, Pad5 Pro, Pad SE and the Watch 5. All should be arriving simultaneously on April 21, albeit only in China for the time being.
In recent weeks, Vivo and its executives have focused on providing information about the X200s and X200 Ultra. However, now they have diverted their attention to other forthcoming Vivo products, including the Pad5 Pro. For instance, Huang Tao has now revealed that the Pad5 Pro will weigh about 15% less than the Pad3 Pro, despite featuring a larger display.
Specifically, the executive has confirmed that the Pad5 Pro will tip the scales at 578 g with a 13-inch display, compared to 678 g for 12.1-inch packing Pad3 Pro. On top of that, the Pad5 Pro will launch later this month with a MediaTek Dimensity 9400 chipset. As a result, Vivo's next flagship tablet should outperform the Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra and smaller Galaxy Tab S10 Plus (curr. $845.99 on Amazon) by almost 25%. Unfortunately, it remains to be seen for now whether Vivo plans to offer the Pad5 Pro outside its home market.
