Some tech enthusiasts might remember the Hanvon N10 Pro, which is an e-reader that was unveiled last year. It's essentially a tablet with an e-ink screen. Now there's a second generation that offers quite a few improvements, but the basic concept remains the same.
The most significant change is noticeable at first glance. The included stylus can now be attached to the right side of the tablet, which can be practical for users who tend to lose or forget these small accessories. The stylus is now included in the box, it doesn’t require charging and has 8,192 levels of pressure in addition to several buttons.
Four microphones are integrated into the e-ink tablet, which should be useful for voice recordings. Not immediately visible is the new panel, which is said to be almost 33% thinner and offer better contrast and brightness for an improved image quality. Furthermore, the internal storage now has 128GB instead of 64GB of capacity.
That being said, the e-reader still features an 10.3-inch screen with a pixel density of 300 PPI, which is a typical pixel density for modern e-ink tablets. However, this panel can’t display colors. The device is just 0.21 inches thin and comes equipped with a 6,500mAh battery. Last but not least, it runs on Android 14 and is now available in China for a list price of around $430.
