Nubia is set to launch two new devices under its RedMagic brand. The first will slot directly into its RedMagic 10 series as a thin device aimed directly at the upcoming Galaxy S25 Edge, while the other will be a gaming tablet.
As shared on the official RedMagic Weibo page, the Nubia RedMagic 10 Air is set to arrive next week, on April 16. This phone will be one of the many offerings this year to focus on thinness over other qualities. Not much is known about the RedMagic 10 Air but a company executive, James Jiang, has confirmed that "AIR" is an acronym for "Aesthetics", "Individuality", and "Race", whatever that means.
Like other models in the series, the RedMagic 10 Air will be a gaming device. Word on the grapevine claims, however, that the RedMagic will be powered by the last-gen Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 and not the Snapdragon 8 Elite on the RedMagic 10 series phones.
In addition, RedMagic is also working on a new gaming tablet. The company launched the RedMagic Nova in September last year with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 Leading Version, and is set to succeed it with a new model. This gaming tablet will feature a Snapdragon 8 Elite and will be smaller than the 10.9-inch RedMagic Nova. Leaks indicate it'll be a sub-9-inch tablet, much like the upcoming Redmi gaming tablet and Lenovo's imminent Legion Y700 refresh.
