RedMagic X Golden Saga: Limited edition smartphone debuts with gold vapor chamber cooling and carbon fiber build

After Nubia showcased the Lightspeed edition for the newly launched RedMagic 10 Pro, the company has now unveiled another premium take on the same series. The RedMagic X Golden Saga Limited Edition has been launched in China, and this exclusive version introduces the industry’s first gold vapor chamber (VC) cooling system for improved heat dissipation, along with a unique gold-and-silver dual-tone design on the back panel.

The Golden Saga Edition maintains the high-end specifications of the RedMagic 10 Pro+, including a 6.85-inch 144Hz OLED display with a peak brightness of 2000 nits, and a triple-camera setup. The high-grade sapphire glass back is designed for durability and resistance to scratches and corrosion, while carbon fiber materials should further cut down on weight and improve heat management. This exclusive edition comes only in one configuration, and that is 24GB RAM coupled with a terabyte of storage.

The package features gold-plated accents on the power button, logo, and branding as well. Buyers will also gain exclusive perks such as personal assistant services (though it's unclear how that will come into play), collectible items (such as souvenirs and premium packaging), and access to gaming rewards and treasure boxes.

Priced at 9,699 Chinese Yuan (~$1,323), the Golden Saga Limited Edition won't be for everyone. Rather, it will appeal to specifically Nubia's RedMagic enthusiasts looking for top-tier performance and exclusivity - or someone who simply loves unique-looking smartphones that don't compromise on features. At the time of writing, it's unclear if this limited edition device will be available in the US.
