DisplaySpecifications has discovered what appears to be a new UltraGear gaming monitor from LG. In recent weeks, the company has showcased new OLED efforts based on updated WOLED panels. However, it turns out that LG has a cheaper option up its sleeves, too.
The UltraGear 27G850A outputs at 4K and 240 Hz by default across its 27-inch Nano IPS panel. Like last year's UltraGear OLED 32GS95UE (curr. $1,196.99 on Amazon), the UltraGear 27G850A also supports LG's Dual Mode technology to deliver a 1080p and 480 Hz image across a smaller surface.
Moreover, the monitor boasts 1 ms GtG response times with 100% sRGB, 99% DCI-P3 and 86.6% Adobe RGB colour space coverages and VESA DisplayHDR 600 certification. Based on the image below, LG has included a pair of HDMI 2.1 and USB Type-A ports apiece, plus DisplayPort 2.1 and 4-pole headphone jack connections.
According to DisplaySpecifications, LG will soon be releasing the UltraGear 27850A across Europe and the US. The website has not provided a specific date though, nor can we find one online. Incidentally, DisplaySpecifications has also noticed a new 34-inch UltraGear OLED option that could be launching soon too, details of which we have covered separately.
