Update - January 19
Update: Images removed per Samsung's request.
Original article continues as follows:
Samsung is less than a week away from officially revealing its 'new Galaxy S series'. As is customary for upcoming Galaxy releases, various sources have got their hands on promotional materials ahead of schedule. While the company continues to take down leaks posted on social media, more pop up on other media.
This time, Tecnoblog has published Portuguese promotional images, which we have embedded below. Based on these, it seems that Samsung intends to roll out a new AI feature called 'Now Brief' that provides suggested content linked to the time of day. For example, Now Brief will show maps and music cards when it thinks you may be starting your daily commute.
Another image highlights Google Gemini as the Galaxy S25 series' primary digital assistant, rather than Bixby. Google's latest AI assistant will dovetail with Samsung's apps and services though, including Samsung Notes. Meanwhile, separate images appear to confirm battery and camera hardware for Samsung's Galaxy S24 Plus and Galaxy S24 Ultra (curr. $908 on Amazon) successors.
As expected, the Galaxy S25 Plus and Galaxy S25 Ultra will line up with the same battery capacities as last year's models. It is a similar story with the pair's camera hardware, except for a new 50 MP ultra-wide-angle camera gracing this year's Ultra smartphone. Incidentally, Evan Blass has now shared high-resolution images of the Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25 Plus and Galaxy S25 Ultra in their four launch colours. Embedded below, the colours will be joined by Online Exclusive options on January 22 after Samsung finishes its Galaxy Unpacked event.
