A new leak says Samsung could restrict some higher-end Galaxy S25 Ultra variants to a handful of markets. Only India, China, South Korea and Vietnam will get to buy the variant with 16 GB RAM.

Multiple reports have confirmed Samsung will ship the Galaxy S25 Ultra with up to 16 GB of RAM. But, the regular Galaxy S25 and Galaxy S25 Plus will miss out on the upgrade. Now, a X leaker @chunvn8888 has some bad news for prospective Galaxy S25 Ultra buyers in certain markets.

Apparently, the 16 GB RAM version mentioned above will be limited to a handful of Asian markets such as China, South Korea, India and Vietnam. Essentially, users in North America, Europe and other regions will have to make do with 12 GB of RAM on their Galaxy S25 Ultra, just like they had to with previous generations.

On top of that, both the 512 GB and 1 TB Galaxy S25 variants will be paired with 16 GB of RAM, meaning you won't have to fork out extra cash for the top-spec model. As always, the above information is a rumour and should be treated as such until Samsung officially confirms it. But we won't have to wait for long because the Galaxy S25 trio is just two days away from launch.
