Samsung has just confirmed the date of its next Galaxy Unpacked event. While it has not been explicit about what it has in store for January 22, it heavily implied that replacements for the Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24 Plus and Galaxy S24 Ultra (curr. $911 on Amazon) are on the cards.
Right on cue, Roland Quandt and WinFuture have delivered first looks at promotional images for Samsung's next flagships and associated first-party cases. As expected, Samsung is preparing to release the Galaxy S25 and Galaxy S25 Plus with more or less the same designs as their predecessors.
By contrast, the Galaxy S25 Ultra moves even further away from the Galaxy Note series design that Samsung brought to the Galaxy S series with the advent of the Galaxy S22 Ultra. Incidentally, the Quandt has showcased the Galaxy S25 trio in 'Icy Blue' colours, which matches previous rumours.
On top of that, the pictures of first-party cases confirm that the devices will support magnetic wireless charging of some kind. However, it remains to be seen whether they will be Qi2 compatible.
