Reports over the past few months have strongly indicated Samsung's plans to launch an all-new foldable smartphone model next year, the Galaxy Z Flip FE. Said reports have now been further substantiated, in light of a new leak.
As revealed by Erencan Yilmaz, Samsung does have the Galaxy Z Flip FE in the works, with the device being spotted on the GSMA database. The foldable is listed with the model number "SM-F761B", indicating it will be released globally, unlike the Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition which remained exclusive to the Korean market. Interestingly, the device is listed as the "Galaxy Z Flip XE" as well, although that's likely just an error.
The Z Flip FE is tipped to launch in 2025 as an even more affordable variant of the standard Galaxy Z Flip7, with Samsung looking to leverage positive sales of its Flip phones by offering a more attainable model in the price segment below. That considered, it's likely the Flip FE will debut with an MSRP in the region of $700—effectively positioned against Motorola's 2025 Razr model. It's unknown if the Flip FE will make its debut alongside the standard Flip7 around July or August but that would be a sensible bet.
In addition to the Galaxy Z Flip FE, Samsung is seemingly also readying a new Galaxy Watch Classic model. After skipping the Classic model for the Galaxy Watch5 and Galaxy Watch7 lineups, it appears the Watch8 Classic is on the way as it's also been spotted online, with the model number "SM-L505U".
