A new Geekbench listing has heralded the arrival of Samsung's first-ever FE-branded foldable. After months of speculation and gossip, the Galaxy Z Flip FE has finally landed on the platform with the SM-F761N name tag. The listing confirms what the rumour mill speculated for a while, an Exynos SoC. It scores 1,930 and 6,276 points in the benchmark, which sits in line with earlier Exynos 2400 results. Unfortunately, it packs a paltry 8 GB of RAM.
The above listing confirms the Galaxy Z Flip FE will not run an Exynos 2400e. This isn't necessarily bad because the Exynos 2400 was pretty competent and kept up with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 for Galaxy. Last-gen performance on a current-gen device isn't ideal, but this is a Fan Edition phone, so some compromises are necessary to keep costs low.
As far as other specs are concerned, the Galaxy Z Flip FE will reuse a good chunk of hardware from the Galaxy Z Flip 6. Leaked renders from earlier say it will come with a 6.7-inch primary screen and 3.4-inch cover display. Other specs should emerge in the coming weeks, but don't expect to see too many upgrades on the camera/battery front.
Now that the Galaxy Z Flip FE is all but confirmed to use an Exynos 2400, it spells doom for another Fan Edition phone launching this year: the Galaxy S25 FE. Our exclusive report from earlier said Samsung would use a Dimensity 9400 on the Galaxy S25 FE, should it not be able to secure enough Exynos 2400e units. Now, the chances of it using MediaTek's flagship SoC are much lower because any Exynos 2400e chips Samsung Foundry makes, it will go straight to the FE-branded smartphone.
