Initially dismissed as a rumour, the Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE is shaping up to be a very real device. OnLeaks and SammyGuru have now given us a glimpse at Samsung's first-ever FE-branded foldable. Visually, it doesn't seem to be distinguishable from its non-FE counterpart, but there are several differences between the two.
At the back, we have two camera modules sitting above the cover display and a Samsung logo on the hinge. The Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE will feature a 6.7-inch primary and a 3.4-inch secondary screen. This is a tad smaller than the one found on the regular Galaxy Z Flip 7, with the foldable measuring 165.1 × 71.7 × 7.4 mm. It isn't the thinnest phone on the market, but that is a necessary sacrifice to keep prices low.
The main differences between the Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE and Galaxy Z Flip 7 will be its chassis. While not confirmed, the former is rumoured to ship with a last-gen Exynos 2400e, and the latter will use a newer Exynos 2500. The Flip 7 might also get newer camera modules, but, once again, it is difficult to speculate given how little we know about either phone.
