The official launch of the Razr 60 Ultra is rumoured to be right around the corner. Although Motorola has not officially teased anything yet, recent evidence suggests that the company will be replacing the current Razr 50 Ultra (curr. $428 - renewed on Amazon) later this month, possibly as soon as sometime this week.
Now, Evan Blass has published a raft of Razr 60 Ultra-related content on X, including a 30-second promotional video reproduced below. Ultimately, the video is light on details. However, it confirms that Motorola will equip the device with a Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset rather than the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 that Qualcomm announced yesterday. As a result, the Razr 60 Ultra should be considerably more powerful than the Razr 50 Ultra, which ships with the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 globally. By extension, the Razr 60 Ultra will have more power at its fingertips than the Galaxy Z Flip6 that relies on the older Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 for Galaxy. Based on our benchmarks, the performance gap between the two devices could reach 40%.
The video also showcases the new foldable's design, which hardly differs from last year's model. Motorola has updated its colour options for the Razr 60 Ultra though, which now include a variety of textures. On top of that, the company is rumoured to have equipped the device with a 4,700 mAh battery, 12 GB of RAM and 512 GB of storage for a €1,299 (~$1,440) starting price. This battery upgrade should be joined by 68 W fast charging and a 165 Hz foldable display too, as well as a pair of external cameras set within a 4-inch cover display.
