With Galaxy Unpacked rapidly approaching, leakers are hard at work ruining Samsung's surprise yet again. Not too long ago, we got a full spec sheet reveal of the Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25 Plus and Galaxy S25 Ultra. Now, X leaker Tarun Vats has revealed how much each smartphone could cost in one of the world's most competitive markets: India
Galaxy S25
- 12 GB RAM, 256 GB storage: ₹84,999 ($981)
- 12 GB RAM: 512 GB storage: ₹94,999 ($1,098)
Galaxy S25 Plus
- 12 GB RAM, 256 GB storage: ₹104,999 ($1,213)
- 12 GB RAM, 512 GB storage: ₹114,999 ($1,328)
Galaxy S25 Ultra
- 12 GB RAM, 256 GB storage: ₹134,999 ($1,559)
- 12 GB RAM, 512 GB storage: ₹144,999 ($1,675)
- 16 GB RAM, 1 TB stoorage: ₹164,999 ($1,906)
Do note the prices listed above include taxes and are the sticker price. The phones could cost less depending on where you're buying from. Compared to the Galaxy S24 and Galaxy S24 Plus, the Galaxy S25 and Galaxy S25 Plus will be ₹5,000 ($58) more expensive. Overall, the base Galaxy S25 have a higher entry cost due to the lack of a 128 GB storage variant. However, the Galaxy S25 Ultra costs the same across both generations.
The slight price increase isn't surprising, given the increase in RAM and rising wafer costs associated with the Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy, which are said to exclusively power the Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25 Plus and Galaxy S25 Ultra. An earlier leak said global markets could also get a minor price bump. Based on what we know so far, the Galaxy S25 trio doesn't offer much in the way of meaningful upgrades, at least in terms of hardware.
