Samsung's upcoming Unpacked event will fully unveil the Galaxy S25 series, which will initially introduce three phones. The much-rumored fourth phone, the Galaxy S25 Slim, will reportedly debut sometime in May. However, the rollout may not be as wide as the other phones within the lineup.
As shared by reliable tipster @evleaks, the Galaxy S25 Slim may not debut in the US. The leaker pointed out that the Z Fold Special Edition was initially rumored to launch as the Z Fold 6 Slim, but Samsung went through a different route, and it's still only available in South Korea.
The leaker hints that something similar may happen with the rumored Galaxy S25 Slim. To be specific, @evelaks asserts that the model won't be offered by US carriers. Of course, this doesn't mean that the thin flagship won't be available as a fully unlocked model in the US (128 GB S24 FE curr. $549.99 on Amazon).
However, per a recent Galaxy S25 Slim One UI 7 firmware leak, it seems that Samsung is currently only developing test builds for Asia, Europe, and the UAE. That is, the US firmware hasn't yet been spotted. But then again, the alleged US model was spotted on Geekbench with the model number SM-S937U.
So, as of now, there's really no conclusive evidence that the Samsung Galaxy S25 Slim will skip the US market. Regardless, in the regions where the thin phone will launch, it will reportedly be positioned between the S25 Plus and the S25 Ultra in terms of price.
