It seems that Samsung will soon be releasing new Fan Edition tablets under the Galaxy Tab S10 series. Based on new reports, Samsung will offer the Galaxy Tab S10 FE and Galaxy Tab S10 FE Plus with its Exynos 1580 chipset in 5G and Wi-Fi variants.

It appears that Samsung is preparing to expand its tablet lineup with a new suite of 'Fan Edition' models. For context, the company presented the Galaxy Tab S9 FE and Galaxy Tab S9 FE Plus in October 2023 alongside the Galaxy S23 FE (curr. $495 on Amazon). Since then, Samsung has released the Galaxy Tab S10 Plus and Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra, among other Android tablets.

In comparison, there have only been passing references to the existence of new FE tablets. According to reliable industry sources, Samsung is now actively developing the Galaxy Tab S10 FE and Galaxy Tab S10 FE Plus, which are expected to be available in 5G and Wi-Fi-only versions.

Reportedly, Samsung has chosen its Exynos 1580 (S5E8855) chipset for all variants as an upgrade over the Exynos 1380 found in the Galaxy Tab S9 FE series. For context, Samsung unveiled the Exynos 1580 last October with ARM Cortex-A720 CPU cores and a GPU derived from AMD's RDNA 3 architecture. The Galaxy A56 is another candidate for Exynos 1580, although no devices have arrived since the chipset's release. A release date for the Galaxy Tab S10 FE series remains unknown at this point, too.
