Earlier today, Samsung hinted at the eventual release schedule for stable One UI 7 updates based on Android 15. As we noted, the new update package should reach recent flagships this quarter, such as the Galaxy Z Fold6 or the Galaxy S24 Ultra (curr. $856.99 on Amazon).
Additionally, Samsung Korea has officially confirmed that the latest version of One UI will debut on the 'new Galaxy S series', to which its global PR team hinted when outlining details about its Galaxy Unpacked event. In other words, One UI 7 will debut tomorrow on the Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25 Plus and Galaxy S25 Ultra rather than reaching existing Galaxy devices first.

Samsung also appears particularly proud of 'Now Bar', despite its similarities with Apple's Dynamic Island that arrived in 2023. As the image above shows, Now Bar sits at the bottom of the lock screen on One UI 7 in between traditional phone and camera shortcuts. While it seems that the Now Bar is not user-customisable, its contents will be linked to a time-sensitive task, such as a stopwatch or music playback.
One UI 7 will showcase a range of new Galaxy AI software features too, although Samsung does not mention all of them in its press release. Incidentally, many of these were mentioned in a recent leak, details of which we have covered separately. Launch offers for the Galaxy S25 series have also turned up online, just hours before their official introduction at Samsung's next Galaxy Unpacked event.
