Samsung launched the Galaxy S25 series at the last Unpacked event. As speculated, the rumored thin flagship phone didn't launch alongside the other phones of the series. However, the company confirmed that it is called the Galaxy S25 Edge, and the phone was showcased at the event.
While Samsung kept specs under wraps, a newly surfaced 3C certification has shed light on the device's charging specs. As the certification reveals, the Galaxy S25 Edge will have support for 25W fast charging (30W Anker Zolo power bank curr. $27.35 on Amazon), which matches the non-Ultra flagship phones within the lineup.
Although this certification didn't reveal the battery capacity, it's expected to be the same or lower than the standard Galaxy S25. To be specific, past reports suggest that the Edge will sport a battery that ranges anywhere from 3,000mAh to 4,00mAh. Of course, given the slimmed-down body, it wouldn't be surprising for the phone to have a lower capacity battery than the standard device in the series.
Other rumored specs of the thin smartphone include a 6.6-inch AMOLED screen with an FHD+ resolution and 120Hz refresh rate and a 200MP primary camera on the back with a 50MP secondary. The phone should pack the Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy SoC, and Samsung confirmed that the Galaxy S25 Edge will launch sometime in April, but the availability may be limited.
