Update | Samsung Galaxy S25 series leak gives a glimpse at new Galaxy AI feature
Samsung is getting ready to launch the Galaxy S25 series, and there have been many new leaks in the past few days. One of them has shared official promotional posters for the lineup, and among the two images, one has given a glimpse of a new Galaxy AI feature, which is said to be a new addition to One UI 7.
In the promotional poster, the Galaxy S25 Ultra was shown to sport an interactive bar at the bottom of the lock screen, which is reportedly called "Now Bar." Within the bar, the picture showed the new feature "Now Brief," which has the text "Get today's highlight."
While Samsung has yet to share more details about this new Galaxy AI feature, it did put up a blog post in December last year. In that post, the company highlighted that Now Bar would be the new UI's "defining element." Per speculations, Now Bar on One UI 7 will be there to give users a brief of their day.
It will reportedly gather information from the most-used apps and everyday actions done with the smartphone. Now Bar is also said to offer personalized assistance for a broad range of things, including directions, communicating in different languages, and entertainment. It'll also reportedly act similarly to Apple's Dynamic Island, displaying important information without taking up too much screen space.
Galaxy S24 users on the third beta of One UI 7 have already got access to Now Bar, but it seems Now Brief will make its launch with the Galaxy S25 series. The good part is that the next Unpacked event is around the corner, so the wait won't be long to see this new Galaxy AI feature in action.
