I admit that after three weeks with the Nubia Red Magic 10 Pro, I look at gaming smartphones a bit differently. In terms of hardware, I think it's a smartphone optimally suited to providing gamers with comfortable gameplay, connectivity to peripherals, and participation in the gaming community. The additional controllers are nice, but what's much more valuable to me is the ease of connecting controllers and peripheral displays. To anyone considering mobile entertainment when choosing their next smartphone, I recommend the Nubia Red Magic 10 Pro without hesitation. As of July 2025, the smartphone costs €599.00 for the 12/256 GB version and €749.00 for the 16/512 GB variant. However, it's worth remembering that this isn't a smartphone offering the highest photo quality available on the market – although I can still recommend it for video recording.

And, for the mid-range price, the RedMagic 10 Pro is hard to fault. It’s got it where it matters most, with a gorgeous near full-body 6.85-inch 144Hz AMOLED screen, built-in gaming triggers, Snapdragon 8 Elite performance and one of the biggest batteries you’ll find at any price point. Sure, the Red Magic OS 10 experience is pretty far from stock Android and will take some getting used to, and the built-in fan means it’s not dust- or water-resistant, but these are easier to swallow at this price point.

After Asus played its latest and greatest hand with the premium-priced ROG Phone 9 Pro, it's Nubia's turn to offer a more affordable alternative in the Red Magic 10 Pro. It may cost half the money, but the Nubia Red Magic 10 Pro runs on exactly the same Snapdragon 8 Elite chip as its classy competitor, producing nigh-on identical performance. Indeed, with a built-in cooling fan, the Nubia Red Magic 10 Pro arguably gains a small leg up on the ROG, which requires an external fan to extract the very best from it. It's certainly a more stable and consistent runner than the preceding Red Magic 9S Pro. Besides the major boost in performance, the Red Magic 10 Pro adds an even larger battery to the package, which carries it to some of the best stamina we've ever seen on a phone. This thing goes for days, and it charges fairly quickly too, courtesy of a bundled-in 80W charger. There's still no wireless charging, though.
