The RedMagic 10 Pro launched in China as a new flagship with the Snapdragon 8 Elite on November 13. Now, the gaming phone has made its global debut with a starting price that’s lower than in China.

RedMagic made its 10th smartphone series official in China on November 13. The new gaming phone lineup introduced two phones: one is the Pro, and the other is the Pro+. Among the two, the former has now officially stepped outside China, and surprisingly, its global starting launch price is lower than in China.

To look back, the RedMagic 10 Pro with 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage had a launch price of CNY 4,999 (about $686). The global launch price for the same configuration is $649. Of course, the company didn't confirm whether this is a promotional price, so there's a chance that the gaming phone can cost more later.

Besides that configuration, the RedMagic 10 Pro is available in two more options in the global market. The one with 16 GB of RAM and 512 GB of storage costs $799, while the configuration with 24 GB of RAM and 1 TB of storage is $999. Those who register for the first global sale by spending $1 will get a $30 coupon, which brings the prices even lower.

Regarding the phone itself, it's one of the very first gaming smartphones with the Snapdragon 8 Elite. Compared to the other flagships with the same flagship SoC, the RedMagic 10 Pro has an active cooler, making it capable of offering better performance under load.

With such a setup, the RedMagic 10 Pro+ was able to achieve one of the highest AnTuTu benchmark scores, coming with 3.1 million points. Other highlights of the 10 Pro include a triple-camera setup on the back with 50 MP primary and ultrawide sensors, a hole-less flat screen, and 100 W fast charging support (140 W Anker 737 power bank curr. $106.48 on Amazon). The first global sale of this gaming phone will start on December 18, but those who pre-order the smartphone will get early access on December 17.
