It has been a few months since Nubia released the RedMagic 10 Pro gaming smartphone. Now, the ZTE subsidiary has announced a special edition that will be available in limited quantities. First announced in China, the new variant of the phone has now made its way to Europe and North America.
Officially called the RedMagic Golden Saga Limited Edition, the special edition variant differs from the standard model inside and out. The difference starts with the type and quality of materials used to make the RedMagic 10 Pro Golden Saga Edition.
The back of the phone is covered in sapphire glass which not only adds a touch of luxury to the phone but also increases durability since it is highly scratch-resistant. Then there's the battery which is wrapped in carbon fiber to help with cooling. The phone also has gold around a number of areas such as the power button, the frame around the cooling fan, and the RedMagic logo at the bottom of the phone.
Underneath the hood, the RedMagic 10 Pro Golden Saga Edition has a silver alloy air duct and gold-plated VC heat dissipation fins, both of which should improve heat dissipation. To complete the premium look, the frame now has a mirror-like glossy finish.
Specification wise, the RedMagic 10 Pro Golden Saga Edition boasts the highest configuration - 24GB of RAM and 1TB of storage. The rest of the specs are the same as that of the standard variants. However, it comes with special edition accessories such as a gold-plated SIM tool, a gold-plated adapter, a custom VC Cooler 5 Pro cooling fan, a special case with a matte finish, an extra USB-C cable, and a collector's card.
As stated above, the RedMagic 10 Pro Golden Saga Edition will be available in limited quantities on a first-come, first-served basis. Pre-orders are already open for those willing to pay $1,499/€1,499/£1,299 for this special edition. The standard edition with the same RAM and storage is available on Amazon for $1,169.
The limited edition RedMagic 10 Pro will begin shipping in the US by the end of March while those in the UK and the rest of Europe will have to wait until late April to get their hands on it.
