Samsung has finally started distributing Android 15 to devices that launched running Android 14. For some reason, the company has not officially confirmed as much yet, despite providing release schedules a few weeks ago.
Instead, it has started pushing notifications to recent flagship smartphones like the Galaxy S24 series. The initial rollout extends to foldables like the Galaxy Z Fold6 (curr. $999.99 - renewed on Amazon) too, as well as the Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition.
Please note that Samsung may be restricting the distribution of One UI 7 to South Korea for the time being. With that being said, devices sold in South Korea but used in other countries are already starting to see the same update packages.
Based on recent official announcements, One UI 7 should begin reaching other markets like Europe later this week. Currently, the company's rollout mainly extends to flagship devices, save for mid-range tablets like the Galaxy Tab S6 Lite (2024). As it stands, the following devices should have started receiving notifications to download One UI 7 today in at least South Korea:
- Galaxy S23
- Galaxy S23 FE
- Galaxy S23 Plus
- Galaxy S23 Ultra
- Galaxy S24
