Oppo confirmed earlier this week that it would soon be offering Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset inside a fleet of new devices. Seemingly, the most powerful of the lot could be the Pad 4 Pro rather than the Find X8 Ultra.
To recap, the Pad 4 Pro will arrive on April 10 to rival tablets like the iPad Pro 13 and Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra (curr. $1,021 - refurbished on Amazon). According to Oppo, it has managed to extract more performance from the Snapdragon 8 Elite than any competing flagship smartphone. For context, the Pad 4 Pro will be the first tablet to launch with Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset.
Supposedly, the Oppo Pad 4 Pro achieves a score of 2,942,439 in AnTuTu v10, which betters all devices we have tested so far with the Snapdragon 8 Elite, including the ROG Phone 9 Pro and Qualcomm's reference device. The same is true when comparing Oppo's latest tablet against AnTuTu's flagship leaderboard.
As it stands, a score of 2,942,439 would put the Pad 4 Pro way beyond the likes of the iQOO 13, RedMagic 10 Pro Plus, Vivo X200 Pro and the OnePlus Ace 5 Pro, which top out at under 2,900,000. Presumably, the Pad 4 Pro can keep the Snapdragon 8 Elite cooler than its peers thanks to its larger 13.2-inch chassis. Battery life should be on the decent side too, courtesy of a 12,140 mAh battery that delivers over an 8% higher capacity than the battery inside the Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra.
