Oppo is reportedly working on the release of not 1 but 2 new Android tablets with the Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC, generationally enlarged ~10,000mAh batteries and up to 16GB of RAM.
1 of them is projected to land as more of a RedMagic Nova competitor, and to be released under the company's well-known OnePlus brand. It is allegedly to be known as the second-gen Pad Pro - or the OPD2413, according to the safety regulator 3C.
It has reportedly cleared the slate to use 80W SuperVOOC charging, as well as the 67W standard of the pre-existing Pad 2 (currently available at $549.99 on Amazon), using the power brick VCB80ACH.
As for the 2nd 8 Elite tablet, it has apparently shown up on Geekbench with a different model number (OPD2409) and the up-to-4.32GHz specs of its alleged top-end processor.
It is believed to launch as the "Oppo Pad 4 Pro" by June 2025, as is the "Pad 2 Pro", although the differences between the 2 have yet to become apparent. It is possible that 1 is destined for international availability, whereas the other is not.
