Contrary to a previous report that said the upcoming Oppo Pad 4 Pro will have support for 100W fast wired charging, new info has surfaced revealing the Oppo flagship tablet wont charge that fast.
Apparently, a device with the model number OPD2409 believed to be the Oppo Pad 4 Pro was spotted on the 3C database, and according to the documents, it will come with a VCB8AOCH charger which supports 80W SuperVOOC fast wired charging. While not as fast as the rumored 100W fast charging, this is still an upgrade over the 67W SuperVOOC charging of the Oppo Pad 3 Pro.
Oppo seems to be sticking to 80W fast wired charging for some of its flagship devices this year. The Find X8 and Find X8 Pro both support 80W SuperVOOC fast wired charging, and not 100W SuperVOOC like the Find X7 Ultra. Although, it has been reported that the upcoming Find X8 Ultra will support up to 100W fast charging.
In addition to faster charging, the Oppo Pad 4 Pro has also been reported to be getting a display upgrade — at least with respect to size. The flagship tablet is said to have a 13.4-inch display, up from the 12.1-inch screen of the previous generation. Although, it'll still be playing catch-up with Samsung's Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra which has a massive 14.6-inch AMOLED display.
Going by the previous generation where the OnePlus Pad 2 (curr. available on Amazon for $549.99) is closely related to the Oppo Pad 3, the upcoming Oppo Pad 4 Pro should also launch as the OnePlus Pad 3 in select markets. However, considering the Oppo Find N5 did not get launched as the OnePlus Open 2, it is best not to assume the Oppo Pad 4 Pro will don the OnePlus logo in some markets.
