Oppo has now confirmed the launch date for the Pad 4 Pro, which will coincide with the arrivals of the Watch X2 Mini and a trio of Find X8 smartphones. While the company's latest tablet is not due to officially arrive until April 10, it has already revealed its design and launch accessories on Weibo.
To recap, Oppo previously outlined that the Pad 4 Pro would leverage Quacomm's Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset in a first for the tablet market. According to Digital Chat Station, this flagship chipset will be joined by a 13.2-inch IPS display with a 7:5 aspect ratio. On top of that, the Pad 4 Pro is 5.99 mm thick, or about 17% thicker than Apple's iPad Pro 13.
The Pad 4 Pro will be available with an active stylus and a detachable keyboard too, just like the OnePlus Pad 2 (curr. $549.99 on Amazon) before it. The latter also contains Bluetooth connectivity, which allows it to be used when disconnected from the Pad 4 Pro itself, much like Microsoft's Surface Pro Flex keyboard. Currently, Oppo suggests that its next high-end Android tablet will arrive in three launch colours with matching accessories.
