Xiaomi 15S Pro: New Xiaomi flagship smartphone set for imminent launch alongside Xiaomi Pad 7 Max
After releasing the Xiaomi 15 and Xiaomi 15 Ultra globally at the start of the month, it appears Xiaomi already has its sights set on another device in the lineup. This phone, expected to be branded as the Xiaomi 15S Pro, looks geared to debut.
As shared by Kartikey Singh, a Xiaomi Software Director appears to have "accidentally" shared a sample image captured on the Xiaomi 15S Pro in a now-deleted Weibo post. While there's not much to glean from the image itself, it seemingly validates reports of the existence of the flagship phone and its imminent launch.
Supposedly, the Xiaomi 15S Pro is being readied to debut shortly, with multiple Chinese sources touting an April release—perhaps as early as the second week of April, even. Another source claims it will launch alongside a new premium tablet, expected to be the 14-inch Xiaomi Pad 7 Max.
Most details of the Xiaomi 15S Pro remain elusive, but it's understood to mostly share the same design as the Xiaomi 15 and Xiaomi 15 Pro. The main change could be the presence of Xiaomi's in-house SoC, trademarked as "XRING". According to word on the grapevine, the 15S Pro will feature the same camera as the Xiaomi 15 Pro, along with Leica optics.
