Word on the grapevine indicates Xiaomi is set to launch its first-ever OLED tablet soon. Previous tablets from the company have all featured LCD screens but that's set to change shortly, with new information now surfacing about Xiaomi's plans for the tablet.
According to a new leak from China, Xiaomi is readying a new tablet to debut in the near future—perhaps even as early as next month. Said tablet is set to be ultra-large with a 14-inch OLED screen, almost on par with Samsung's Galaxy Tab S Ultra models. It's unknown what this tablet will be branded as but popular opinion on Weibo seems to lean towards it being badged as the "Pad 7 Max". Ergo, a direct successor to the Xiaomi Pad 6 Max 14 that was released in 2023.
In addition to the Pad 7 Max, it appears Xiaomi has two other high-profile tablets in the works. One will be a Snapdragon 8 Elite-powered flagship tablet with an OLED screen—potentially branded as the Pad 7S Pro or Pad 7 Ultra. The other will be an 8-inch Redmi gaming tablet powered by the upcoming MediaTek Dimensity 9400+.
