Xiaomi Pad 7 series outed in new leak ahead of launch
Xiaomi's next generation of tablets is on the way. The company launched the Pad 6S Pro globally earlier in the year and is readying the Pad 7 lineup for launch, with a new leak now revealing key details of the lineup.
As shared by Kartikey Singh, Xiaomi currently has two tablets in the works: a Pad 7 and a Pad 7 Pro. The vanilla Pad 7 is expected to be powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, and is tipped to sport an 11-inch 144 Hz 3K LCD, a 10,000 mAh battery, and up to 120 W charging. The more premium Xiaomi Pad 7 Pro is billed to feature a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 and an OLED display, making it Xiaomi's non-LCD tablet.
Both tablets are expected to launch in October alongside the Xiaomi 15 series in China, with a global release tipped to follow much later on. Both have also been certified in China as well, with the model numbers "24091RPADC" and "2410CRP4CC". An Indian launch is expected for the vanilla Xiaomi Pad 7 but it seems unlikely that Xiaomi releases the Pad 7 Pro in that market.
