Xiaomi is set to launch a new tablet shortly. This device, expected to be badged as the Pad 7 Max, has already been certified and is expected to be joined by another flagship tablet, with new leaks now revealing key info about both devices.
According to a new leak, the 14-inch "Pad 7 Max" is slated to launch next month, with Xiaomi's "flagship" Snapdragon 8 Elite tablet to follow in the second half of the year. It's currently unknown what chipset will underpin the 14-inch OLED tablet but it will offer flagship performance and be priced accordingly—an MSRP in the region of CNY 4,000 to CNY 5,000 ($550-$690) has been mooted.
Interestingly, Digital Chat Station seems to imply that the imminent 14-inch tablet will actually be positioned higher than the Snapdragon 8 Elite model in Xiaomi's hierarchy. If that's to be taken as accurate, the Snapdragon 8 Elite tablet could well debut much later in the year when that chipset is no longer Qualcomm's current-gen flagship offering. In that case, it would launch as a direct successor to the Xiaomi Pad 6S Pro.
