Rad Power Bikes has unveiled its next-generation RadRunner lineup: the all-new RadRunner, the RadRunner Plus, and the RadRunner Max Cargo utility e-bike. The refreshed RadRunner lineup comes with better performance, an improved build, and advanced safety features compared to the last generation lineup, said the company in its press release.
Designed for both off and on-roading, the RadRunner Max Cargo utility e-bike sports a 750 W rear-mounted motor that delivers up to 90 Nm of torque, enabling the e-bike to tackle inclines up to 25 degrees. The rear hub motor can assist you at speeds up to 28 mph (~45 kph). Speaking about range, the e-bike provides up to 60 miles (96.5 km) range thanks to a 672 Wh detachable battery armed with safe-shield technology designed to prevent accidents related to overheating.
Alongside three new RadRunner e-bikes, the company also introduced its latest Range Extender, which you can pair with the cargo e-bike to further extend the range up to 125 miles (201 km). Furthermore, 20” x 3.5” tires with a Gemma GA-100B hydraulic braking system and Exsho suspension with 80 mm travel provide a comfortable ride on bumpy terrain.
The UL-certified e-bike features an aluminum construction and can handle payloads of up to 420 lbs (190.5 kg). Moreover, the 8-speed e-bike has a built-in color display, which shows useful information such as your speed, battery levels, trip time, travel distance, estimated remaining range, pedal assist level, and more. Plus, it has a new radar detection feature that alerts the rider to approaching vehicles and other riders right on the display.
Other features include a headlight armed with an ambient light sensor, a USB-C port for charging devices, IPX6 water resistance, passcode protection, and Apple Find My support for locating the e-bike from your Apple devices, such as Apple Watch, iPad, or iPhone.
Available in a single deep emerald green colorway, you can now pre-order the RadRunner Max Cargo utility e-bike via Rad Power Bikes’ official website for $2,299, and shipping starts from May 2025.
