Decathlon has refreshed the Van Rysel E-GRVL AF HD Mahle X35 e-bike. The original model was launched in various European countries in 2024, a blue-framed gravel e-bike with adjustable assistance.
Now, Decathlon has released an upgraded version of this Van Rysel E-GRVL bike. The latest model features an SRAM Apex 1x12 groupset, replacing the SRAM Apex 1x11 groupset of its predecessor. Another change is the display, which has been switched from a Mahle Pulsar One to a Decathlon BC900 GPS cyclometer. This can be linked to the Decathlon Connect app thanks to Bluetooth connectivity, allowing you to view your journey history on your smartphone.
Otherwise, the two versions are identical. They are powered by a 250W Mahle X35+ motor with 40Nm torque and three assistance levels. This is accompanied by a 250Wh battery for up to 100 km (~62 miles) range. There is a full carbon fork, Hutchinson Touareg 700x45 tires, and SRAM Apex hydraulic disc brakes. Plus, accessories include front and rear lighting, and tt is available in six sizes ranging from XS to XXL. The bike has a 6061 T6 aluminum frame, with the medium size weighing 14.5 kg (~32.0 lbs).
The Decathlon Van Rysel E-GRVL AF HD Mahle X35 SRAM Apex 1x12 e-bike is available for €2,899.99 in countries like Spain and France. This is the same price as the older version of the electric bicycle.
