The Xiaomi Electric Scooter 5 Plus has received an operating license from the KBA in Germany. This is the second leak in recent weeks, suggesting that the e-scooter could launch in Europe and other regions in the near future. It will join the other models in the Electric Scooter 5 range: the basic, Pro and Max versions.

The unreleased Xiaomi Electric Scooter 5 Plus has leaked again. This is the latest model in the Electric Scooter 5 series, which already offers basic, Pro and Max variants. The Xiaomi Electric Scooter 5 Plus was spotted in May at the Telecommunications And Digital Government Regulatory Authority (TDRA) database. This company is responsible for regulating telecommunications equipment in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

Now, the Xiaomi Electric Scooter 5 Plus has been found in the database of the Federal Motor Transport Authority, or the Kraftfahrt-Bundesamt (KBA), in Germany. It is listed here with model number DDHBC23LQ; the UAE database entry was for a similar model number DDHBC24LQ. The Electric Scooter 5 Plus has received Allgemeine Betriebserlaubnis (ABE), a general operating license, which means that it can legally be ridden on the road in Germany.

Unfortunately, this new listing does not provide any of the specifications of the Electric Scooter 5 Plus. As such, it is unclear where the Plus model will fit in the current line-up. The current base level model has a 700W max power motor, a dual spring front shock absorber and a 60 km (~37 miles) range.

It remains to be seen when the Xiaomi Electric Scooter 5 Plus will launch in Germany or other European countries. As a guide on price, the Xiaomi Electric Scooter 5 retails for €399.99, while the Electric Scooter 5 Max is priced at €599.99.
